The study investigated the relationship between managerial skills and SACCO performance. The study was aimed at determining the influence of managerial skills on performance of SACCOs.
Data collections were done using a questioners, interview guide and documentary review. The findings indicate a positive significant correlation between planning and performance of SACCO. It also revealed a positive significant correlation between organizing and SACCO performance. The study further revealed a positive significant correlation between coordination and SACCO performance. The study also revealed a positive significant correlation between control and SACCO and performance. According to study, the conclusion was that there exists strong positive significant relationship between managerial skills and SACCOs performance.
Therefore, the study recommended that managers should always apply the managerial skills of planning, organizing coordination and control in order to achieve maximum SACCO performance.
